I am grateful to be in a profession where I combine my passions for modern scientific knowledge and traditional systems of medicine – where individuals benefit from the best of both worlds. As a first generation immigrant from a single parent family, I recognize the barriers to accessing this form of healthcare – whether due to cost or other elements of systemic racism in medicine – and I strive to deliver accessible care.
In practice, I have a clinical focus in complex chronic disease (autoimmunity, chronic pain, chronic fatigue, etc), as well as stress/burnout, digestive issues, cardiovascular disease, and diabetes. Using an integrative mind-body approach, I work with individuals who experience conditions that have been difficult to diagnosis and treat, and who have had limited success working with other practitioners. In addition to clinical practice, I am a part-time faculty member at the Canadian School of Natural Nutrition in Toronto as well as hold a medical consultancy role with Vita Aid Professional Therapeutics.
